Partnership for Evidence-Based Response to COVID-19

Partnership for Evidence-Based Response to COVID-19 (PERC) is a public-private partnership that supports evidence-based measures to reduce the impact of COVID-19 on African Union Member States. PERC collects social, economic, epidemiological, population movement, and security data from 20 African Union Member States to help determine the acceptability, impact and effectiveness of public health and social measures for COVID-19.

August 26 2021: A new tiered PHSM framework uses indicators of disease spread to determine the appropriate level of PHSMs.

July 9 2021: Three new thematic briefs about access to health services, income loss and food security and vaccine confidence are available.

May 12 2021: Launch of the regional advocacy report:  analyses on access to essential health services

April 2021: Full survey data decks are available from Ipsos as well as updated on the PERC dashboard
